Not The Child's Fault

Understanding how entertainment programs young minds and where the real blame belongs

The Most Important Thing First

NOT TO BLAME CHILD

NOT THEIR FAULT

If you're a child reading this: You are not broken. You are not bad. You are not the problem.

If violent thoughts come into your head after watching scary movies or violent games, that's not because you are violent. It's because someone put those thoughts there by showing you content you weren't ready for.

Think of your mind like a computer. If someone installs a virus on your computer, is it the computer's fault? No. The computer is innocent. The person who put the virus there is responsible.

Your brain is the same. When adults let you watch horror films, violent shows, or play graphic games before you're ready, they're installing "programming" in your mind that you didn't ask for and don't deserve.

You are innocent.

The blame belongs somewhere else.

The Original Discovery (Drawn 1997, Documented 2025)

Original handwritten notes showing NOT TO BLAME CHILD principleSketch showing confused children's minds after media exposure

These drawings show what was discovered in 1997 and documented in 2025: When children are exposed to violent media, their minds become tangled and confused. But it's NOT the child's fault. The blame belongs to the systems that delivered the content.
